3. Spread the love to at least 10 or more bloggers.

If you want to spread some loooove, feel free to grab this! Have fun!

Women and Jewelries

Yesterday Hubby and I went out to buy some groceries. We bought these from the mall so I was able to window shopped too! I saw some nice jewelries that I really wanted to buy. But I don't have a budget for that and Hubby can't buy it for me as well. LOL! So I decided to just window shop. On the way home, I realized that I really want a nice ring so I decided to save for it (probably in the next few months). I also browsed online and surprisingly I found some cute discount fashion jewelry over at HolstedJewelers.com. They offer nice jewelries, gifts and accessories that women would love! I hope I can save up until my birthday. I can treat it as my birthday gift for myself. (*wink*)

Celebrating Hubby's Birthday in Boracay (2/3)

When I woke up last Saturday in Boracay, I heard the strong winds and the rain was pouring. So I decided to sleep again. Good thing when we woke up, I finally saw the sun!

We decided to have breakfast at Real Coffee in Station 1.

After a sumptuous breakfast, we decided to swim since the weather was getting weird again.

We didn't last long in the beach because the waves were unbelievable! So we just stayed in the shore and took our time. I love moments like this. You get to think about your life and be thankful of how much you have been blessed after all these years.

I didn't mind the weather anymore. We didn't care if it would rain or not, the important thing is that we are both having a great time. :)

Planning our Family Vacation

I know we just got back from a vacation but Hubby and I can't help but plan our next family vacation. You see, we didn't bring the kids last weekend because we thought we needed a break. We didn't get to spend alone time during our anniversary this year since we can't leave Baby A who was still 1 month old. But as soon as we arrived in Boracay last Friday, we can't help but think of the kids. We wished that we brought them with us. Well, not during the rainy season of course since it would be too risky for them, but probably during the summer when Ate A doesn't have classes! I'm thinking (or dreaming) of going to Azul Beach Hotel in Riviera Maya. I would love to see the beautiful stretch of the Bahia Pentempich beach in Puerto Moreles which I have read has just re-opened and re-designed. I'm sure the kids will love the beach! I can just imagine they would spend the whole day in the beach playing, swimming and having the time of their lives! I really hope this will push through and I definitely look forward to it!

Celebrating Hubby's Birthday in Bora (1/3)

I actually booked this flight February during Cebu Pacific's promo. It was my gift for Hubby on his birthday!

Hubby's initial reaction was, "It's July, it's going to rain!". I disagreed and still booked our flight thinking that, what the heck, the tickets were really cheap!

True enough, there was a storm!

Another thing, Caticlan airport no longer allows big planes to land there so we were directed to Kalibo. Darn! I really wanted to go to Bora knowing that I don't have to travel another 1.5 hours by land. But anyway, we can't do anything much about it.

We got the first flight to Kalibo (we had to re-book our tickets over the phone to make sure that we get a Kalibo flight). Good thing we were early because I heard that some later flights were cancelled. We arrived in Kalibo at 9AM. I was happy since the weather was not rainy and stormy but just cloudy. But when we arrived to Caticlan port, the winds were suddenly strong and it started to rain! It was just in time for out boat ride! Aaargh!

It was sooo wavy, I felt very dizzy. I don't want to get into details anymore. But I was just thankful that the ride was short. I realized that I got so dizzy because the boat was enclosed. I needed air that time so I guess it would be better if we were at those old bangka that used to travel to Boracay. Where are those old bangka anyway? I don't want air-conditioned boat! I want the traditional ride. :)

Anyway, I will share more stories in my travel blog soon. For the mean time, here are our photos on our first day.

That's it on our first day! LOL! I know, I know. We were too lazy to get some photos because it rained on our first day! So we just decided to take the opportunity to sleep! And then come night time, we went out for a couple of drinks. Do you want to know how I look like when drunk?

I'm not sure really if I will post it here. LOL! I will think about it first. ;)

Watch out for my next posts on our Bora trip! (*wink*)

Ate A's School Days

I haven't been writing updates on Ate A's school. I realized that it's been two months since the school opened in June. So far, she is really enjoying it. There are times that I don't want her to go to school so that she can sleep more but she keeps on insisting that she WANTS to go. Good girl. :) Everyday she has assignments. These are usually to color some stuff like banana, oranges, and more. There are writing assignments were she needs to follow lines. So far she is doing great! Hubby is the one helping her with her assignments while I take care of Baby A. It's actually fun! I haven't set any schedule on what time she will work on her assignments. We just go with the flow. After all she is just in pre-school right? I think for now, what we will do is just let her adjust to things, let her enjoy school, appreciate the stuff she learns and not to make her hate it. I also don't want her to get bored! I just hope that she continues to enjoy it until College. :D

My Mom's Ensure

When I would have a chat with my Mom, she would always mention how ensure has given her energy. Aside of course from eating right, drinking food supplements and doing exercises. When you see my Mom she is really energetic considering her age - a grandmother of 2! Anyway, you can get some ensure and other medical supplies from AllegroMedical.com. They have everything you need from FreeStyle Diabetes Test Strips to Polar Heart Monitor to Blood Pressure Monitor. These are the medical supplies that you can't find in an ordinary pharmacy. And would you believe that you can purchase it online? Yes, you can! That's what I love about AllegroMedical.com getting hard to find medical supplies without leaving the comforts of our homes.

Our Rainy Trip to Bora

Well, if I think about it, it wasn't that rainy when we were there. We were given 2 sunny days and I guess that was good enough considering that there was a storm in Luzon. :)

Anyway, just wanted to share this photo for now.

I need to focus first on Mommy duties since I missed the girls so much! Yes, you read it right, we didn't bring the kids because I badly need a break. But it turned out that as soon as we got there, we (both Hubby and I) kept on thinking about them. I thought that I would party until morning and then sleep late but it turned out that I would still wake up at 5AM!

Aaaargggh! I also need to do some research on ddr3 since we need to buy new memory cards for the camera. While in Bora, we were selecting the photos every now and then because we were scared that the memory card would be full! Well, we learned our lesson! I just hope that we get to purchase some stuff from MemoryAmerica.com soon.

But anyway, I will definitely be back with more stories and photos soon! Watch out for it!

Happy Birthday, Dada!

I thank the Lord for this day because if not for this day... I won't have the most patient, understanding and supportive Hubby. Ate A and Baby A won't have the best and loving Dada in the whole wide world! We love you Dada! Happy, happy birthday! (*wink*)

He's Forgiven.

You may be wondering what happened to us (Hubby and I) as per my previous post, well, the Hubby is now forgiven.

Jacqui was right, as if I have a choice right? LOL!

Well, when he got home that day, I forgave him. Talked about our "issues", then we decided to eat out for dinner and had some yummy burgers at Wham Burger. I also window shopped and was able to buy a pair of sandals for our upcoming getaway.

I've been so busy with a lot of things lately that I couldn't find to update my blogs. I'm also busy preparing for Hubby's birthday dinner tomorrow plus some online tasks to finish and not to mention Mommy duties too!

But I will definitely find time again this week or next and will be back with a lot of stories to share! (*wink*)

Should I Forgive Him?

Hubby and I had a little disagreement since the other night. I was just pissed off! But this morning, while I was preparing Ate A for school, he wrote me a note in our computer.

I was surprised! It was the first time. Should I forgive him? LOL!

Welcoming my Dad.

My Dad is based in Mindanao so we don't see him very often. But when he comes home here in Manila, we would make it a point to spend a lot of time with him. He arrived last Saturday, so we had a simple dinner with him at home. He brought seafoods from Mindanao, roasted cashew nuts (my ultimate favorite!), pineapple bar, and some vegetables. I asked our help to cook baked pork chops to complete the meal! Here it is...
Baked Porkchops with Mushroom and Carrots
Steamed Crabs
Yummy Prawns! It was a very simple dinner but it was fun! Looking forward to more dinners with him until he comes back to Mindanao in a few weeks. :)

I've been so busy with work and other stuff that I haven't had time to share some photos of the girls here. Today is the perfect time! Check out Ate A here. Lately she loves to dress up as a Princess by wearing her blanket on her shoulders. IMG_6709 IMG_6710 When I saw her, it's like I saw her in a wedding gown. Is it just me!? LOL! Baby A on the other hand is getting cuter everyday. She is slowly losing weight (in my opinion). But actually if I think about it, she consumes milk more now than ever before. She is heavy. Her Yaya even complains now that she can't carry Baby A anymore. Uh-oh! :( Here are her most recent photos. 06142009188 IMG_6720 IMG_6721 IMG_6755 IMG_6756

Investing in Gold Coins

I'm not really a fan of gold but when I read somewhere that you can actually invest in buying gold coins, I became interested and tried to read more about it. You can get it from Monaco Rare Coin. They offer a unique, vast and impressive array of resources for investors and collectors alike. I know some people who collects coins and I'm sure gold is one of their collections. This is a good idea because after collecting it, you can sell it if you don't want it anymore. And with that you were able to expand your money since gold coins' value appreciate as the years go by.

Now I'm thinking, should I also invest in one of those? We'll see!

A Dinner and Movie Date with the Hubby

I actually thought that we would miss this in the big screen. You know, with Andie having on and off fever for a week. With us being quarantined at home for 7 days. We thought that we will just catch this on DVD. But good thing we did catch it last Friday on our movie and dinner date.

Before the movie, we had dinner at Pepper Lunch. Our first time after planning to eat there for months! More details soon.

Wow, it's been in awhile since the last time we watched a movie. I can't even remember the last movie we saw. Hubby is a big fan of Transformers. 2 years ago, it was shown on his birthday and as a celebration, we watched this movie! I can't believe that it's been 2 years already. Hubby was ecstatic with the first movie. But surprisingly, he didn't like the second movie that much. He said it was too long. 2 hours and 30 minutes to be exact. Me, on the other hand, loved it. I was hanging on to my seat the whole time!

We had crepes and coffee after the movie at Cafe Breton.

I felt refreshed after going out with Hubby. After being on house arrest for more than a week, it felt good to be outside. And also, I missed going out with Hubby too. Last Friday was definitely a blast!

Sunblocks and Moisturizers.

Yesterday I had my ME time at the salon for a haircut and haircolor. I was so excited! After weeks of planning it, I finally made it to the salon.

What I love about being in a salon is to be able to read current magazines about fashion, makeup, latest trends and gadgets. I was even able to read a few skin care products which I decided to purchased soon. Here are some of it.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer® Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 55, 70 & 85

Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 55, 70 & 85 is a revolutionary, dermatologist-tested formula that contains Helioplex® technology, the latest breakthrough in UV protection.

Helioplex delivers unbeatable UVA protection. It works better to help prevent damaging UVA rays from penetrating deep under skin's surface. Dry-Touch technology absorbs excess sunscreen oils, leaving a clean, lightweight, non-shiny finish.

Another option is this.

Nivea Moisturising Sun Block Lotion Spf30

Nivea Moisturising Sun Block Lotion SPF30 provides intense protection for extremely sun sensitive skin and increases natural sunburn protection by up to 30 times.

Nivea Sun Moisturising Sunscreen SPF 30+ is definitely a sunscreen that works. It's probably because it takes quite a while for you to rub it in as it is so thick. It's kind of like a paste! However on the plus side it is water resistant for about four hours and it really does block out the sun, which is what we need to protect us from those harmful rays!

This looks ok too.

Armada Sport 70
For face and body. It's a colorless lotion that's light on the skin and doesn't feel greasy. You can layer on the product and not worry about looking white. Best of all, it's very water-resistant, has an SPF70, hypo-allergenic, non-comedogenic, and fragrance-free. Made by VMV Hypoallergenics. P1,399.75/185g tube.

My Plan of being Healthy

As I've posted earlier, I kind of vowed to be healthy for the rest of the years and the coming years. I started doing some exercises last week. 10 to 15 minutes of exercise would really perk up my day. Then I would eat oatmeal and a fruit for breakfast. For a week, I lost about 2 lbs. If I think about it, I'm not really into the numbers. I just want to feel healthy and be able to climb up the stairs without getting easily tired. I don't know if I would still go for Fastin pill which I found online. It seems really effective to some people who used it already. But for now, I would stick to the basics first. Then I'll see how I would go from there.

I'm About to Stop Breastfeeding.

I've been breastfeeding or expressing milk through pump for 7 months and 2 weeks already. More than what I have planned which is 6 months. As much as I would want to continue on, because of stress my milk has decreased. I'm now expressing milk once a day and gets around 1.5 to 2oz of breastmilk. So I guess it's time to stop. It will probably happen in a week or so. My dilemma would be, I will definitely gain weight. So for now, I'm checking out some nuphedra review that will help me in choosing which diet pill to take to prevent this weight gain. I'm also starting to eat healthy (which I vowed a few years ago). I started exercising in the morning last week for 10 to 15 minutes. This is while helping Ate A prepare for school and while watching Baby A. I hope I can continue this routine for months so that I will be healthy and at the same not gain too much weight from months of eating lots of junk foods like pizza, burger, and chips.
