Have a Nice Long Weekend!

I can't relate to the long weekend thing because I have work on Monday but I wish that everyone in the Philippines will have a nice long weekend!

Sharing some photos of the girls! :) I just love taking their photos these days...

Our Upcoming Getaway

After our stormy trip to Bora last July, we decided to have a family vacation this month. And it's going to be soooon! This is a perfect time to go to the beach since Ate A is having cough and colds for weeks now. I hope that she will get well after swimming the whole weekend! How I wish I could go to Karisma Hotels and spend a weekend or more there. After all, it is my birthday on Tuesday! But that kind of family vacation needs to be planned out properly - budget and time wise. I hope we can have that relaxing vacation in the next couple of years. By that time, the kids are old enough to take care of themselves while Hubby and I can truly relax.

They are Priceless!

When I think about the career I gave up a couple of years ago, I would think, are they worth it?

When I think of the best buy gadgets, bags, and shoes that I did not buy to prioritize their needs first, I would think, are they worth it?

When I think of the travels that I missed with my friends, I would think, are they worth it?

Well, look at them now!

Both of them are darlings! I wouldn't change anything. They are definitely worth it and even more!

I used to Smoke...

I used to smoke. That was when I was in College. But I only smoke occasionally and just for the sake of smoking. I didn't even try backwoods cigars. I heard they were good but I never bothered to try. I remember I can finish a half pack of cigarettes after school. That was during the days when I needed to prove something to myself. The question is, was I able to prove something by smoking? Naaah! I did not! LOL! This is something that I definitely would NOT recommend!

Ate A is Getting Funnier Everyday!

I can't forget this moment when we were on our way to a birthday party. So before I move on to an assignment about barcode scanner and spend a lot of time in that area, I must post this first! We were in the car and I was seated at the back with Ate A, Baby A, and Baby A's yaya. Then here goes the conversation... Baby A's Yaya: Wow look at Ate A very sixy (translation: sexy!) Ate A: What? Baby A's Yaya: I said, you are very sixy. Ate A: Oh no! I'm 3! I'm not sixty! LOL! After that, Hubby and I can't stop laughing!!!

Ate A's Presentation for Linggo ng Wika

It was a blast! We were so proud of the little girl for dancing and singing in front of the crowd! Check out her photos before the presentation... IMG_7435 IMG_7436 IMG_7439 IMG_7440 Here are some photos of her while dancing and singing. IMG_7465 IMG_7467 IMG_7470 2 I can't believe she just sat there the whole time! Even after the program she didn't even bother to look for us. She just sat with her classmates and waited for us to give her her food. She was so well behaved. I hope she is also like that at home! LOL! Ate A is really a big girl now. (*sigh*) Looking forward to more school activities in the next months!

Studying Cosmetology

I don't have plans of going back to school YET, but when I saw the michigan cosmetology schools online, I'm now having second thoughts. Regency Beauty Institute continues to expand up to now. Started from two schools in Minnesota in 2002 to almost 30 campuses across the nine states in the US. I like their style wherein bringing unique approach to courses such as cosmetology. I know that cosmetology is a pretty difficult course. There are several areas that need to be discussed so they should be creative in their style of teaching. I guess in these kind of courses they have to let the students have the experience more than teaching the standard way.

Baby A is 9 months old!

Would you believe that I forgot that Baby A turned 9 months old today? If I didn't see the ticker on the left side bar of this blog, I wouldn't remember! Bad Mama! The thing is, since she is really heavy, I always thought that she is already 1. Ha! Baby A now weighs 10 kilos (that was during our last visit to the Pedia) which was 2 or 3 weeks ago. I wonder how much she weighs now. As I would always blog, Baby A is such a darling. It was never an effort to make her smile or even laugh. Just call her name and she would respond. As my friend Norin would describe her, she is a charming baby. I don't exactly remember if Ate A was like her. It just proves how each sibling's personality is different from each other. Baby A eats boiled rice, sayote, carrots, apple, pear, squash, and fish. I should include more in her diet from now on. She tries to stand too! Check her out... IMG_7338 IMG_7345 She also likes sticking out her tough when she laughs. IMG_7392 The only thing difficult with Baby A is that she wouldn't let us put her in her playpen alone! She wants somebody with her even if we put tons of toys. So we need to find a way to let her stay there or else everybody in the house will have a broken back (like me!). Baby A also likes taking a bath. Look at her! IMG_7220 IMG_7221 IMG_7222 IMG_7223 IMG_7224 And then she cries hard when we take her out of the water. :( I'm pretty sure she will enjoy the beach once we hit it soon! I can't wait for that! 3 more months and it's going to be her first birthday! I better start preparing now!

Our Fun Sunday Afternoon at Moyra's 7th Birthday

The party speaks only one word - F.U.N.

Moyra is the daughter of Hubby's cousin. It was her seventh birthday. I was expecting popcorn, candies and ice cream but no, the party looked like a 16th year old party to me! :D It was definitely a paarrteeee!

The theme was a "rockstar theme" and kids were dressed in I can't describe it. Haha. But it was so new to me and I was so shocked knowing that 7 year olds are waaaay too different now. They are more aggressive and kikay if that's the word to describe it.

Anyway, it made it more fun because of the kids' cat walk before the program started. And guess what? Ate A joined the little girls! It was impromptu but she did her moves too! We were so proud of her we can't stop smiling!

Here are our photos...

I still can't believe this!

IMG_7384
I didn't teach her to do that! LOL!

IMG_7387

I took a few clips on video but it wasn't complete! I was so disappointed on myself, I wasn't prepared that it was going to happen. Anyway, the important thing is that she and Baby A had a great time. Did I mention that Baby A was also dancing the whole time!?

My, where did they get all those talents? Hmmm... Tito Dandy, perhaps?

Anyway, after the party, we went to church to hear mass and then went home. We decided to just order KFC bucket since we were too tired to prepare our food. We even didn't have time to discuss the home insurance that we were supposed to get for the house this year. I hope we will get to discuss this soon. But for the mean time, will just check 2insured4less for more options.

Happy Saturday!

Well, even if I needed to work this morning, it is still a happy Saturday for me. Why? Because I have my family with me and I don't have to leave the house to work. There are times that I find it boring to work from home but most of the days I feel thankful that I have work at the comforts of my home. With this I'd be able to witness the milestones of the girls.

Imagine being so tired and then you will see the sweet and smiling Andie when you go down to get water. I won't see that in a normal office!

Imagine when the little girl comes home from school the first person she sees is me! And I can get a nice hug from her when I feel stressed out!

It's perfect!

I haven't posted updates here but hopefully soon. For now, will just share these two photos and see how they've grown over the months.

I just need time to sit down and post their updates here. Hopefully one of these days. I have been busy with work since there were a few changes. I missed blogging actually and hopefully I'd get my groove back!

Have a great weekend everyone! (*wink*)

Wednesday Happy Thoughts

I was supposed to post this yesterday, but I was too busy browsing and reading about weight loss supplements. I realized that I need it badly now since I'm gaining weight fast!

After that, I had to do some tasks at work and then the next thing I knew we were going to have dinner! My, I just wish there are more hours in one day so I could do more things!

Happiness is...

1. Foot Spa!
2. Coffee with friends
3. MIL's birthday last weekend
4. Alex attending Psalm's 7th birthday party
5. Online Shopping
6. Cheap airfare
7. New business :)
8. Bags, bags, bags!

10. Belgian Chocolates

Ate A at Psalm's 7th Birthday!

It's been awhile since we last attended a birthday party. So when MIL asked Hubby to go to Psalm's birthday party with Ate A last Saturday, he happily obliged. Baby A and I on the other hand just stayed home and prepared our stuff to be brought to the in-laws' house since we are spending the night there to celebrate MIL's birthday. The party was so early, it was at 9AM at Fun Ranch Tiendesitas. It was a Hannah Montana party so the little girl had a blast! Although the games were for big kids already, the Dada still won in the "Bring Me" game. And guess what he brought? He brought himself as the most handsome Daddy in the room! Yeah Dada! That's all for getting a prize for Ate A! You're the best Dada! ;) Here are a few photos by the Dada. He was really something during that party - took care of the little girl, took photos, joined in the games, he did this while carrying all the stuff. LOL! IMG_7300 IMG_7303 IMG_7308 IMG_7316 IMG_7318 Happy Birthday Psalm! Thank you for inviting Ate A, she definitely had a blast!

Celebrating Hubby's Birthday in Boracay (3/3)

Our third day in Boracay was dedicated for swimming, shopping, going to mass, eat and sleep more! Check out our photos.

On our third day we felt a bit sad and relieved at the same time that it was our last day. We were sad because our short vacation was almost over. Relieved that we were finally going to see the little girls soon! I realized that we missed them a lot during this trip and we hope that next time we could bring them along so they could enjoy Bora too.

Hopefully that will happen next year! (*wink*)
