Craving for Tasty Ramen for the Chinese New Year!

Kung Hei Fat Choy, everyone!

Since today is the Chinese New Year, I'm kind of craving for ramen. Yeah, I know, Ramen is actually a Japanese food but I kind of remembered our good meal from our dinner last year. It was YUMMY!

We had a very tasty ramen for that night at Ikkoryu Fokkuka in Shangrila East Wing. It was a quick dinner since we all have work the next day. But still, we had a great time bonding over food with my family! We will definitely go back! (*wink*)

"You Made me a Mother"

This video is dedicated to my beautiful girls.

I felt you. You were a pea. Then a lemon. Then an eggplant. I followed advice. I read twelve books. I quit coffee.

Could you tell I was scared?

I talked to you, sang to you... I wasn't ready.

But then you were here. Ten toes. Eight pounds. Love. Big fat love.

I held you. I fed you. I realized that I would spend my life doing things to make you happy -- and that that would make me happy.

And then there are the times I want to give up. You've made me rethink my sanity. You've made me want to fall on my mother's feet and tell her that I get it.

But then you smile and you say my name -- and you grab my hand with those little fingers.

We're growing together. We are seeing the world like it's new. I will open my heart and love will rain down all over you. You'll giggle, and I'll do it all over again. And we will walk hand in hand. Until you let go.

I made you, but you made me a mother.

This video made me cry. It just said everything I wanted to say to my little girls. Maybe one day when they are big enough, I am going to show this to them. I love you both so much!

Discovering Ramen Cool on a Rainy Day

A couple of months ago, it was raining so hard, but we needed to go out for dinner so we discovered Ramen Cool.

It was very timely since we were craving for a hot soup and noodles. The kids' favorite!

This soup was tasty and not to mention cheap too! I'm glad I ordered this for them. And as for me, I ordered this spicy chicken that was so perfect for the rainy weather!

Yum, yum, yum! Will definitely go back to Ramen Cool again soon!

Sharing a Song this SUNDAY: If You're Gone

Sharing you this nice song by Matchbox 20 - If You're Gone...

I think I've already lost you
I think you're already gone
I think I'm finally scared now
You think I'm weak - but I think you're wrong
I think you're already leaving
Feels like your hand is on the door
I thought this place was an empire
But now I'm relaxed - I can't be sure

I think you're so mean - I think we should try
I think I could need - this in my life
I think I'm just scared - I think too much
I know this is wrong it's a problem I'm dealing

If you're gone - maybe it's time to come home
There's an awful lot of breathing room
But I can hardly move
If you're gone - baby you need to come home
Cuz there's a little bit of something me
In everything in you

I bet you're hard to get over
I bet the room just won't shine
I bet my hands I can stay here
I bet you need - more than you mind

I think you're so mean - I think we should try
I think I could need - this in my life
I think I'm just scared - that I know too much
I can't relate and that's a problem I'm feeling

If you're gone - maybe it's time to come home
There's an awful lot of breathing room
But I can hardly move
If you're gone - baby you need to come home
Cuz there's a little bit of something me
In everything in you

I think you're so mean - I think we should try
I think I could need - this in my life
I think I'm just scared - do I talk too much
I know this is wrong it's a problem I'm dealing

If you're gone - maybe it's time to come home
There's an awful lot of breathing room
But I can hardly move
If you're gone - baby you need to come home
Cuz there's a little bit of something me
In everything in you

Dinner Get Together with College Friends

Right before the holidays started, last November, my College friends and I decided to meet up again for dinner. We had a sumptuous dinner at Abe.

It was a night of chikahan and never ending reminiscing of good old college days. I missed those days! I was so glad I was able to join them that night. We definitely had fun!

Until next time guys! (*wink*)

Minions Overload at the Little Girl's Birthday

I can't believe I forgot to post these little cuties from the little girl's birthday.

Minions invaded her school party a few months ago and her friends and classmates were so happy! With all the loots that they got from her, they sure had a grand time.

We all loooove minions!!!

Quick Dinner Date with my Friend MM

As much as possible, my friend, MM and I make sure that we meet at least once or twice a year. That's why before the busy Christmas holidays started last month, we met at Trinoma for a quick dinner and milk tea.

And guess what!? After dinner, we were able to witness the light & sound show too!

Fun, fun, fun!

We got tired of walking around trinoma with all those people shopping for the holidays, so we decided to stop and rest and I decided to have my milk tea fix.

It was just a short time but I'm so glad we met up! See you again soon, my friend!

The Little Girl's Christmas Play

Another unforgettable Christmas event we had was the little girl's Christmas play. It was extra special because this is her last year in preschool, so we were all so excited for it.

She was the Santa's Little Helper. ♥

It was a cute Christmas play about the little red train. The kids had so much fun performing!

We had a very memorable Christmas Eve simply because I got to spend it with my family and the in-laws' too. We were one big happy family!

We started our Christmas Eve by attending mass at 7PM. All of us were very excited! Then as soon as we got home, we had our photos taken.

I promised myself this is going to be a stress free Christmas, I think I relaxed too much that I forgot to wrap our gifts for the kids. Argh! It means we were having so much fun!

We opened the little girl's gift for us and look what we got!

Thank you so much Ate! ♥♥♥

Our 2013 Christmas Eve Lunch at Project Pie

Yes, we started our Christmas Eve with another get together. This time with my family and we had lunch at Project Pie. It was F.U.N.!

It was everyone's first time, so we didn't know what to do exactly. Good thing the crew was very helpful!

There are several steps on how you want your pizza done. Since we haven't tried ALL of their pizzas yet, we got the basic ones.

And all of these were really GOOD!

After our sumptuous meal of pizzas, ice tea and salad, we exchanged gifts.

The kids were so happy with their loots from Lolo, Lola, Tita and Tito. Thanks guys!

5th Christmas Party for 2013: Highschool Friends

Last December 22, we had two parties for that Sunday, first, with highschool friends. As always, we had fun chatting and lunching. It was a great yet simple party for the holidays.

The kids were so happy to see each other. Too bad, we missed two families this time, Terry's and Joy's. Hope they can join us again in the Summer.

Merry Christmas, girls!

4th Christmas Party for 2013: Office!

Last December 20th (2013) was our office Christmas party. The party was held at Merci Bar in Timog Ave. It was fun!
