Plagiarism is a Form of Flattery?

Kitts left a comment here in my blog and gave me a particular link. She said, I won't believe what she found. And she was right! It was unbelievable! It was my exact post, but translated in German. Check it out here.

So, is this plagiarism or what!? Should I be flattered!? Hubby said that it was ok since it was translated in German and mine was in English. LOL! I remember I read it from Anton's blog saying that plagiarism is the highest form of flattery. Hmmm...I don't know, it just feels weird seeing your exact same post from another blog.

Thanks Kitts for letting me know about this. ;)

Trick or Treat Part 2

Alex's 2nd trick or treat was held at my in-laws' village last Saturday. There was a party first in the clubhouse then trick or treating afterwards. The party was a bit boring (well for me huh!). It was actually dragging because there was a halloween costume contest and it takes sooo long for the kids to come up to the stage. There were several categories, Animals, Unique, Super Heroes, Fairies, and Scariest. Alex was in the Fairy Category.

My MIL only paid around p60 for Alex to get registered, then we got popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream, hotdog, and juice. We also got to taste this new drink - Nai Cha. For me, it was too sweet. I would still go for Chowking's Nai Cha. LOL! And aside from that, they gave out free chips for the kids. What I liked about the party is the magic show after the contest. It was short but very interesting. The magician used so much fire though but he was a bit funny and made sure that the kids were safe and kept on reminding not to do it at home.

Here are some of the pictures before the Trick or Treat.

Hello!

with Daddy

with Mommy

with Manny Pacquiao look alike
with Pacquiao Look-alike. LOL!

Scary...

let's explore the place

During the trick or treat, it was drizzling so we weren't able to enjoy it that much. Alex was also walking so slow so Hubby decided to carry her all throughout, and boy, she was heavy!

Anyway, last year's trick or treat was better. Alex slept halfway though, but it was not as tiring as this year. Probably because Alex is now bigger, heavier, and sort of understood what's happening already. So, I guess I better be prepared for next year's trick or treat. I'm sure Alex is old enough to choose her own costume by then. Hmmmmm...

MagicLoans' New Website

MagicLoans has launched a new website. They are a company that offers Home Loans and these loans are flexible and affordable. The recent website that they've launched is really nice since they installed a Loan Calculator it made the website really cool! You can just enter the amount that you want to loan and how many number of years you plan to pay the loan. So with this you get the picture on what you pay monthly and the interest rates too. They also have a budget calculator which I really liked too. It is very easy to use. They also offer a complete confidentiality when you use it. Any information you choose to give in the website will remain completely confidential, and they won’t retain any of these information either electronically or on paper.

Let's Talk About Love...

Being in an almost 3-year marriage for me is still considered in the honeymoon stage. But 3 years is a long time I could say. Thinking that Hubby and I went out for 10 months then got engaged. I know, it was such a short span of time. I remember we were supposed to break up when we already dating for 2 months. I don't know, I just felt like things were not right. But Hubby insisted not to and we finally tried to work on getting back together. I know our romance was like a whirl wind romance and I've never expected that we would end up together. And who would have thought that we would produce such a wonderful Alex? LOL! God indeed works in mysterious ways.

This is a paid post.

Mortgages

Mortgages are part of our lives I guess. There would always come a time that we will buy a house and we will need a mortgage to sustain that. Good thing there is what they call a Mortgage Broker that helps in searching the whole mortgage market and recommend what is best for us. There are lots of mortgages information that we need to consider like, fixed rate mortgages, flexible mortgages, interest rates, and many other types of mortgages. We need to consider these options since these would determine our monthly payment. For me, I would always, always look into the interest rates. Because interest rates would actually determine how much we are going to pay as a whole and if it is really worth it.

Alex's Christmas Wishlist

This is for the Mommy Bloggers Christmas Party next week. Sorry, I think it took me a long time to post this, I keep on forgetting it! LOL!

  • a nice Hat. Not too kikay though, just plain and simple hat that she can use when it's cold, raining, and sunny. Oha! (Is there such a thing? hehe!)

  • Barney DVD that involves sing and dance. I remember Barney DVD's (and even Dora's) were on sale at SM Megamall Department Store.

  • Board book for bedtime stories. Alex has so many toys (mostly stuffed toys) already. But she has only a few books so, I would really like to get more for her.

Trick or Treat in Makati

As I've mentioned, Alex had two trick or treats, one is from my sister's office in Makati and the other from my in-laws' village.

We arrived at my Sister's office around 4PM. Kids were so excited and I was surprised to see my sister and her colleagues wearing costumes. LOL! I remember that they joined the Halloween contest which they would need to decorate they cube and wear costumes too. Unfortunately, they didn't win.

Anyway, there were several floors that we tried to visit for trick or treat. It was amazing how much some employees there really tried their best to decorate their cube in spite of the deadlines. I remember when I was working in a company, we didn't have time to join these kind of contests. I remember clearly that we were the only cube there that didn't join because we were soooo busy working and trying to beat the deadline. LOL! Haaay, those were the days.

Look at the Camera!
My sister and her officemate with Alex

Look at the Camera!

Candies!
Wow, lots of candies!

Candies!

Candies!
She wants some more Candies! LOL!

Alex loves to get a lot of candies! It was funny, once she got the hang of it, she got more and more. LOL!

Trick or Treat!

Smile
At the Phantom of the Opera Booth

Thank goodness she wasn't scared of all those decorations and costumes of the other kids. I think she doesn't understand yet the concept of scary and Halloween. Well, maybe next year, I'm pretty sure that it's going to be a different story.

Furnitures for our Family Room

Aside from bathroom vanities that we need to buy, the next on our list are the furnitures. Oh, we badly needed it, since for now, we would only sit on the floor while watching TV in our family room. There's a really nice and cozy sofa at Bush furniture and it would fit our lifestyle. You see, I have to consider Alex. All our furnitures have to be kid-friendly and safe. Now that Alex looooves to climb in the sofas, side table, and chairs, I can't just take the risk of buying a not so kid-friendly furniture. I just hope I get to find a safe but also a stylish furniture that goes so well with our room.

Bathroom Vanities

One of the things that we still need to buy for the house are bathroom vanities. We particularly need shelves to accommodate the shampoos that we use everyday. I really hope that we get enough budget for this because right now we only place the soap dish and the shampoo beside the window. So it doesn't really look decent. Oh well, at least we got a huge mirror and a cabinet for our toiletries.

Early Bird

We have a new "working hours" at work starting today so I woke very early. At first I was hesitant because I wasn't really a morning person, and I would usually wake up at 8 or 9am. But now, I have to wake up at 7! (*sigh*)

But, when I logged in to check out some opps, I got one opp with a big amount! Whoa! Then I realized that waking up really early somehow has an advantage! LOL!

I remember my Mom would always say: "The early bird catches the worm."

A cliche but I just realized that my Mom was right all along. :)

Top Online Casinos

After posting about online casino I've looked it up in the web more out of curiosity. I found out that there are a lot of top USA online casinos and it can be easily downloaded in their website. The cool thing about it is that when you download it there is a bonus that comes with it. And it is usually a big amount! Some online casinos also offer monthly bonuses.

TopUsaOnlineCasinos.com is actually FREE guide that assists players in finding a safe and fun online gambling destinations. Casinos were ranked according to categories, to type of games, bonus size, payout rate, customer support, number of games, deposit options, graphics and most especially ease of use. I guess this becoming big already in the web industry. I'm sure a lot of people are already into online casino. And best thing about it is that you are playing in the comforts of your home.

We had a Great Weekend!

This post is going to be short because I need to watch Chicken Little with Alex in awhile. Oh yes, she loves that movie and I guess she has seen it for 10 or more times already! Will post about that soon.

For now, I just want to share that we had a great weekend. Alex had two trick or treats (Friday and Saturday) and we got a LOT of candies, that I didn't know what to do with it. She had a great time (I hope!). I'm not pretty sure because she was so quiet the whole time and was really observing. Good thing she wore her wings (yes, she was a butterfly!) because she wouldn't want to wear it the first time I let her. Anyway, will post a few photos for now and will be back with more stories...

Alex with her Wings
I'm a Butterfly!
I'm a Butterfly!
Yes, her costume was so simple, I didn't want to spend too much! LOL!

Hope everyone had a nice one! ;)

Baby Talk

I was tagged by Kathycot. Thanks sis! ;)

1. Are there any babies in your family or circle of friends?

Yes, we have lots of babies, our one and only Alex, Baby Rika my niece, and the babies from our household. :)

2. Are you one of those people who use a high-pitched, sing-song voice when talking to babies and small children?

Unfortunately (or not?) I'm not one of those people. I don't know, I used to be so deadma when it comes to babies. And I never "Baby Talk" those kids. Not until I gave birth to Alex. LOL!

3. If you were standing in line next to a *very* pregnant stranger at the bank or grocery store, what would you say to her?

Nothing. hihihi...

4. Similarly, what do you say or do near babies in public?

I let them smile or usually I would make faces. LOL!

5. When walking through a department store, are you the sort of person who can go by the baby clothes without even a glance or do you have to stop to ooh and ahh?

I never stop by not until I got pregnant and gave birth.

So, anyone interested in this tag, just snag it and let me know! ;)

My Long (Working) Weekend

Oh yes, it's going to be a long weekend once again, but it is going to be a "working weekend" for me. As usual, I had to work on a holiday because my working hours is actually not based here in the Philippines but based on another country. I guess that's one of the disadvantages of my job. But still, the perks of working from home would still rule.

As of this writing, I'm working and trying to input some info in our forms but at least my presence is here at home and I can still enjoy the company of Hubby and Alex. And oh, not to mention seeing him sleeping right now and having the time of his life! LOL!

But, this doesn't stop me for having some fun over the weekend! So, better go now and finish up my tasks and be back with more stories of how we spent our weekend!

Have a great weekend everyone! (*wink*)

My Fourth Dream Destination

After exploring United Kingdom, my next dream destination would be Las Vegas. Hubby has already been to Vegas but he was so young then. He was actually 17 when he went there so he wasn't able to enjoy the casinos and the wines and the late night parties. But he said that he will surely bring me there sometime in the future. I don't know if we will bring Alex or our future kids but one thing's for sure, Hubby's going to save up for this! This is his treat! And I'm claiming it! LOL!

How Many of Me?

I snagged this from Era! Thanks for letting me snag this, girl! ;)

When I tried to enter my maiden name, I got this:

HowManyOfMe.com
LogoThere are
519
people with my name
in the U.S.A.

How many have your name?

And, look what I've got when I tried to enter my married name now!?

HowManyOfMe.com
LogoThere are
0
people with my name
in the U.S.A.

How many have your name?

Wuhooo! I know I had a common name when I was single and good thing that Hubby's surname is so unique that finally I got a unique name now. But, well, that is only in the US. I wonder what would be the result if this is based here in the Philippines. Hmmmmmm....

Insurance

Ever since I started working, I would really check out the whole life insurance. There are a lot of available out there and they offer different kinds of benefits. That's why I had to check each company and what they have to offer. Recently, I found out that a dollar goes a long way when it comes to insurance. With Globe Life Insurance, your $1 can actually buy up to $50,000 and these can be done through three easy steps. No Medical Exam for the future policy holders, only a few Yes or No health questions and you're set to have an insurance that you've been waiting for.

Heroes Season Two

"It is human nature to look to the past, to the road we have traveled, to what has so far defined us. But only by leaving our past behind can we then push onward into an unknown tomorrow, into the dawn of a new future, into the light of a new beginning.” - Mohinder Suresh

Awwww, I can't believe it's almost a month already since Heroes Season 2 started. Ever since Hubby and I watched the first episode of Season 1, we were definitely hooked! Should I say that Hubby watched the preview of season 2 for almost 10 times last night? He can't just get over it and so excited to get a copy of the first few episodes. Here's what they've (Hubby and Alex) been watching last night and can't just get enough of...

She's finally Asleep!

Haaay, after how many hours of making kulit, Alex is now finally sleeping. You see, her nap time was supposed to be after lunch around 12:30pm but for some reason, she wanted to play with me more! So, I tried to play with her and then make her go to sleep. I thought she was sleepy already so I went back to my computer. But after a few minutes she would try to surprise me then laugh her heart out if I would glance at her. She would just laugh and wait for me to tickle her. Haaaay, how can I resist that wonderful smile, right?

And the weird thing about it is that, during the time that she was making kulit, my internet connection has gone from bad to worst. I would get disconnected every 5 minutes. So, I wasn't able to work!

Anyway, my internet connection is still bad, but at least, Alex is sleeping now. I'm sure she got tired of laughing all throughout the afternoon. Haaay, I just love days like this, seeing her smile and laugh is really something! I wish I could capture the whole thing so her Dada can see it. Or maybe later we'll just try to tickle her before she goes to sleep. (*grin*)

Online Casino

I've never heard about casino online until recently. I just realized that this is the in thing nowadays and people actually play along on this one. But there are so many online casinos to choose from that we don't know which one to trust. So what we actually need is a company that will provide us a list which offers the best.

Pro360.com is one of the companies that review online casinos since 1997. These online casino reviews are designed to help the players cut out the time consuming task of filtering through almost 300 online casinos to gamble online. And Pro360.com provides that review. They even provide a detailed review according to the game experience, trust score and some bonuses offered by each casino. And these factors are really important in the selection of your favorite online casino and online casino games such as online poker, craps, slots and roulette. I guess the most important part here is that there is a company that actually cares and provides a good service for everyone.

Going Back in Time

I was tagged by Eds here. Thanks Eds!

This tag is very simple. All you have to do is share a baby, teenager or whatever you please picture of yourself when you were younger.

Hmmm...good thing I got my baby pics here at home. I checked out my baby pictures recently because I wanted to check if I really look like Alex when I was younger. LOL!

This is me! When I was almost a year old...

This is me! When I was in Highschool.

I know, I know, the more jologs it looks, the better right? LOL! I can't believe I wore those long socks with brown leather shoes...And I remember all my shirts were from Pink Soda. :) And oh, check out our black and red sofa...with matching, red figurines and red frames. LOL! Haaay, I miss those days...

Anyway, I'm tagging Arlene, Amore, Francine, Lucel, and Nita

Online Tutoring

Ever since we had Alex I've always wonder how am I going to teach her when she goes to school. You see I've been tutoring my youngest brother when he was young, and because of that, I knew that I didn't have patience to do it. I know that I need to do some homework help when the time comes and I have to prepare myself for it.

I've came across online tutoring but I have to do more research about it. There's Tutorvista.com who provides a world class tutoring. I can even try it since they have a free trial on their website.

But for the mean time, I will have to prepare for reading, writing and spelling. Since I know that Hubby will be assigned for Math and Algebra subjects. Oh boy, I know it's going to be hard, but probably the best thing to do is to make it fun. Is it possible? Oh, I certainly hope so!

Our Trick or Treat Last Year

I can't believe that it's been a year already since the last trick or treat! It was Alex's first trick or treat! We attended a Halloween party last year and Hubby, Alex, and I had a great time watching the kids with their nice costumes. Alex was 7 months then so I didn't bother to buy her a costume, because I thought she was too young then. Little did I know that there were actually parents who will make their babies wear costumes even if they were almost a month old! Boy, I didn't know that. But, good thing that one of our friends lend Alex a nice pumpkin costume. It was actually a bib, cap, and shoes. And Alex looked nice on that. It was simple and yet it was not too heavy for a 7-month old baby. :)

The Halloween party is coming up! But, I'm not going to tell what Alex is going to wear. LOL! It's going to be a surprise! But, hint: I didn't want to spend so much for her costume. LOL!

For the mean time, here are some of our pictures during our last year's Halloween party.

(Advance) Happy Halloween, everybody! ;)

My Bag

I got tagged by Yvetchie. She wanted to know what's inside my bag. So here goes...

These are the things that I brought from Tagaytay. Small Miracles book, wallet, organizer where I put my expenses/budget, digital camera (which is not in the picture), mentos, softee tissues, alcohol, cellphone, pen, mints, make-up kit (composed of blush on, foundation, etc...), and keys.

I also want to know what's inside the bag of, Joy, Apols, Era, Dangkin and Alpha.

A Gift for Dad

I'm currently finishing my Christmas list and I got stuck with my Dad's list. I think I gave him everything he wanted and needed for the past birthdays and Christmas occasions, so now I don't know what to give him except for auto accessories. He has been using his car/SUV for several years now and I think giving a car accessory would be appreciated. BuyAutoTruckAccessories.com would surely provide something for my Dad. They provide Hassle-Free Shopping and offer quality products from Top-Of-The-Line Manufacturers. They also offer free shipping and guarantees that they got the lowest prices. Sounds really great. What I can do probably is order from their website and make them ship the auto accessories to my Aunt who is staying in California and then maybe ask her to send it here through a balikbayan box. I just hope I get it on time for Christmas.

I'm a Cool Mom!

...that is according to Yen! :)

Thanks Yen for this cool Mom award! Really appreciate it! I never thought I'm cool, but nevertheless, I just hope I'd stay cool especially when Alex becomes a teenager. :)

So, now I'm passing this award to, Eds, Jacqui, Kelly, Meeya, and Yvetchie.

Our Weekend in Tagaytay with CFC Household

We planned a weekend getaway with our CFC household last month so off we went to Tagaytay last weekend. We were 6 families all in all. We were 13 adults and 10 kids (8 boys and 2 girls!). Oh, we had a blast!

We arrived there Friday night to prepare the house for the rest of the household who will be arriving on Saturday. We expected a heavy traffic because it was rush hour and we knew that there were a lot of constructions going on along South Superhighway, but miraculously, traffic was a breeze! Even if we had dinner along South Superhighway, we still managed to have a two hour drive (not bad!). Weather was not that cold last Friday night and also we realized that we did the right decision on going there early because we were just relaxed and we didn't have to rush things all the time. We slept early because for some reason, it's just so nice to sleep early in Tagaytay. LOL!

We had a busy Saturday morning. We prepared the house early since we were meeting our friends for an early lunch. But probably because of traffic, it turned out that we had lunch at exactly 12 noon. We had lunch at LZM and the food was great there. Their Bulalo and fried bangus was so yummy that I would to go back there again. Price was reasonable too.

After lunch we decided to go back to the house to settle down, fix our things, and probably take a nap. Everyone was so excited especially the kids!

After some chikahan and kids getting bored already, we went to the park to let the kids play. Kids and adults alike had a wonderful time. LOL! Although it was so windy at that time, kids didn't mind it at all. They were so busy playing!

We went home afterwards and started preparing dinner. Hubby and I were assigned to prepare dinner so I just prepared Puttanesca and Pesto Pasta. The kids loved it (or they were just hungry after playing in the park!?) and had two servings of it. LOL!

Time flew so fast when we were there, next we knew we were surprising our friend for her Bridal Shower. We brought gifts for her and she loved them all. I don't know though if she had a hint that we will be surprising her. But I can see that she really loved the gifts that we brought. By the way, she will be giving birth on the first week of December.

pa200032
pa200042

After the bridal shower, we had games (while the kids are already sleeping) and lots and lots of alcoholic drinks. LOL! We finished early though, it was around 12:30am that we decided to call it a night.

pa200046

The next day, brunch was served at 12 noon because everybody was so tired to wake up early. After brunch and after our pictures were taken, everybody packed their things and started to go home.

But Hubby and I stayed to clean the house first and then went to Mahogany Market to buy some food. I just love buying there because they are open anytime. And the vegetables are yummy compared here.

Anyway, it was a short but nice vacation. We were expecting Alex to enjoy it but I really don't know what happened, she suddenly became so clingy that she doesn't want to let go of me. Probably she was not used to having so many people in the house and so many kids too! LOL!

Bad Credit

Have you ever experienced being in a bad debt or bad credit? I haven't, thank God. But I can just imagine the feeling of being in that situation and not knowing what to do and where to go. Good thing there is already a company called Bad Credit Offers that help people in bad debt. Their goal is to provide consumers with the knowledge and resources necessary to help them find the best credit offer to fit their needs, regardless of a bad credit history. They offer credit cards, home loans, auto loans, credit repair and personal loans. Just the perfect solution when bad debt comes your way.

Question Tags

Jane tagged me last week. Asking me this:

What are you getting for yourself this Christmas?

Hmmm, tricky question, I have a list of things to give for others already but not for myself pa. But, I'm thinking of getting some kits for digiscrapping, a nice wallet, a nice shoes, and clothes. LOL! I know, that's a lot. But I think I deserve it for working hard, right? Hehehe! :)

Kathycot also tagged me asking:

What would you choose to eat LECHON BABOY OR LECHON BAKA?

I would choose lechon baka! Yummy!

Thanks girls for tagging me! (*smile*)

My Next Dream Investment

In line with my posts about my dream destinations, I would also like to post about my next dream investment. I would want to have a vacation house in the future. And well, since it's a dream I'm entitled to make it a big one, so I would want it to be in another country. There are so many properties in the US that is being sold and advertised and I just fell in love with the Arizona luxury real estate. The houses are so wonderful with the very huge garden. I can just imagine Alex and our future kids playing there and having the time of their lives. Well, I wonder if I would be able to reach that dream sometime in the future. Who knows!?

Friendly Award

Another award that just made my week last week! Thanks to Annette, Yvetchie, and Arlene. I appreciate it so much girls!

It's such a nice feeling knowing that there are online friends out there who appreciates my blog. Thank you, thank you! So, now, I'm passing this award to, Jo, Pacs, Mari, and Thea.

Update: Jane also gave me this award. Thanks Jane! :)

Weight Loss

After giving birth I just thought that I need to lose weight! I know there are a lot of products out there that is what they call a Miracle burn. These are products that can just miraculously burn fats instantly. And they said that it really works. But for me, these intakes are ok but we also need to do our part like watching out what we eat and do a lot of exercises. I can't say that from now on, I will do exercises, maybe I will put that on my to do list and I'll do it at least a few minutes each day to start off.

2008 Superbowl Tickets is now Available

I'm not much of a sports enthusiast but I was just surprised that the 2008 Superbowl tickets are already available now. And it's 200% guarantee! The most recent football will be on February, 2008 which will be held at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ. Time of the football game was not even announced yet and they are selling tickets already! I'm sure the football fans got theirs already. Wow!

I Scrapped!

Oh, it's been a while since I scrapped, but since I did a few shopping last week, I made it a point that I used the kits that I bought. So, here are the recent layouts that I did for the past couple of weeks.

Discounted Furniture

As far as I know there's a lot of sales going on this weekend. Oh, it's shopping time once again! There are still a lot of stuff that I need to buy for the house so, I really look forward to getting discount furniture. It's a big help if we get it discounted because we have a budget that we need to consider. Especially now that Christmas season is coming, there will be extra expenses that will be made and I don't know if that would still fit into our budget. But who knows maybe, one of my family members can give it as a gift for Christmas?

My Third Dream Destination

My next dream destination after Manchester as I've mentioned is London. Even when I was a kid, I would always dream of going to London. Remember that nursery rhyme, "I will go to London to visit the Queen!"? Oh, I love it!

Like checking out Manchester Hotels, I will also have to check first the Accomodation in London. I can see that there a lot of London Accommodation to choose from and I can choose depending on the region that we will be staying. I heard that Baker Street is a nice place and same with Chelsea. But of course, I will have to consider the price and if it is convenient meaning it would be easier to go to the tourist spots.

Oh, I can't wait for this dream destination. I know it will take years before we will be able to go there but I know that we will be able to make it there. It may be 5 years or 10 years from now, but the important thing is that our dreams will definitely come true!

For 30 minutes

Alex's usual nap time is after lunch around 12:30 pm. Today is different. Her Dada was here since he was on sick leave and was not feeling very well. So before going to nap we played for a while. While Hubby and I were talking, Alex started jumping in our bed. She was so happy and jumped like crazy. So we just let her be (so she'll get tired and then get sleepy afterwards LOL!).

Anyway, after all the jumping and the laughing, we thought that she was ready to sleep so I placed her in her playpen with her new dolly "Timmy". Everything was pretty well until suddenly she bit the hand of her dolly "Timmy". And so I told her not to bite, it's not good, etc...You see, she used to bite me too and then I'd get a looot of bruises, so I thought that she shouldn't get used to doing it especially to other people.

Anyway, she suddenly CRIED and she cried with TEARS! Wow. I didn't understand why. So, I let her cry for a while then tried to understand what could be the problem. But, after crying, she suddenly smiled. And then, we were ok, I joined her in her playpen (yes, both of us would fit there!), and then she CRIED again. I knew it wasn't an ordinary cry because she has huge tears! But it would last for only a few seconds, then she would look at her Dada, then she would smile, then try to cry again. And it all happened in 30 minutes!

So, I just let it happened like that for 30 minutes until she got tired and then found herself sleepy already. But, until now, I still couldn't understand what happened. LOL! Maybe, I should just focus on the part that she is now sleeping and is ok. Or maybe I'll just let Hubby sleep in a different room during nap time!? LOL. Oh well, I guess Alex is REALLY gearing towards that Terrible Two stage. I better catch a lot of reading about this.

Moms, you have anything to share about that "Terrible Two" stage? Please, please, share! I would really appreciate it! :D

My Second Dream Destination

My second dream destination would be the United Kingdom. Although this country is so huge that I wouldn't know what to visit first, but I would probably go visit Manchester first. There are hundreds of Manchester Hotels I can say, but at least they have a website where I could choose and check which one is cheap and accommodating. You see, the plane fare itself would be so expensive that I would really go for cheap hotels. And I believe that I will be able to locate it in Manchester Hotels.

What's more exciting about Manchester is that Take That band is going to perform live there! So maybe I was thinking that if we will plan to go there maybe it would be nice if we will also watch a concert that will never be shown here.

History is very rich in Manchester as well. They also have wonderful arts and architecture that is really worth visiting. Oh, I just wish that we could go there soon already. And oh, I might also try checking out the London Accomodation for our next stop.

We Need a Car Cover

You see, our car in the parking is half exposed meaning the back part is exposed from the rain and the sun. Thus, we need to buy a car cover. There are a variety of car covers out there but all I want is something that is easy to use and durable. Of course cost should be considered too. But knowing Hubby, I'm sure that he will go for a car cover that has of good quality and will last a long, long time.

Another Thoughtful Award

Oh, guess what? I got another thoughtful award from Mari! Yey! It made my day!

Mari, thanks for the thoughtful award, you can view my post here. Thank you so much! Really appreciate it! ;)

A Dream Destination

I've been blogging about our travels here and there but I haven't really blogged about my dream destinations. There are actually a lot but for now, I want to focus on Australia. You see, I've heard about good things in Australia. I have a few relatives there and some friends who has been there and just love the country! I'm checking out the flights and there are a lot of sites that offer online reservations.

Travel.com.au is one of the websites that I've been talking about and they are one of the oldest travel website in Australia. They have international flights with international airfares but they also have cheap flights if you opt for that.

Several airlines are available and you can choose from Qantas, Singapore Airlines, Jetstar, and United Airlines. You can choose depending on your comfortability, taste, and budget. I wonder what we will choose when we go to Australia?

I'm a Soon-to-Be Godmother!

I just found out last week that I will be a Godmother once again! This is the second time that I will be attending a baptism this year and I just felt so excited! It's so flattering if you get to be a Godmother because it feels that the parents trust you enough to be one. Even if nowadays a role of being a Godmother is not a big deal anymore but I really DO take it seriously.

When I chose the Ninongs (godfathers) and Ninangs (godmothers) of Alex, I made sure that these are the persons that I can rely on especially if Hubby and I won't be around anymore. I also chose the persons who will always be there for Alex no matter what.

Anyway, because I was too excited for that baptism, I thought of making a nice LO for Baby Erika as our gift for her. Check this out...
