When I saw myself at the photos, I can't quite figure out if I need to buy those fat burner pills to lose weight or just reduce my food intake and exercise. The past few days I was eating like crazy and been drinking coffee everyday for the past month. I'm not sure if it affects my metabolism that's why I can't seem to lose weight. Because of tiredness and lack of sleep I just end up eating and eating. So now, I have to decide if I really need those pills or I just need to change my lifestyle. What do you think?
After putting off our date, Hubby and I finally decided to leave everything and spent the night together. Well not necessarily the night actually, just the 4 hours of quiet time. We ate at CYMA, my second time this week and Hubby's first. It was a full dinner that I would want to drink weight loss pills after wards. I didn't realize that it would be that heavy. A salad, an appetizer and a kebab made us really heavy and sleepy. Hubby loved the food and didn't want dessert anymore. After dinner, we watched Shrek. We were supposed to watch Prince of Persia but the movie house was full we ended up in SHREK. It was a good thing actually since Shrek was a really nice movie. We were laughing almost the entire movie. After that, time to go back to the real world - went home and play with the kids before sleeping.
Here's a nice way to do over the weekend.
Day 2: Slow Down, Relax
Stress may appear to get things done in the short-term but in the long term it leads to burnout. When you learn to slow down, you discover how easy it is to be relaxed whilst on the go!
PAUSE!
THINK!
I choose to be relaxed in what I’m doing.
ACT!
Do nothing for 20mins. Just sit quietly, put your feet up, slow your mind down, let go of stress and relax.
I'm still undecided on where to invest. To tell you the truth, I haven't really explored the options. All I know is that this is perfect time to buy gold bars. Since gold is an important commodity, not only today but all throughout history. According to some stock gurus, investing in gold should be in a least 5% of your stock portfolio. Since it is very safe to invest in gold. I guess this is the best way since gold's value does not depreciate much. That's what I love about investing in gold. It's like no risk is going to be made. Unlike investing in stocks or any other stock options, you can't even sleep at night when you invest. I hope I get to make up my mind though, because these are just important decisions that I need to decide fast.
I got this from my Mom through email. It includes the 25 day challenge to have peace in your life. I thought of posting it here to remind me to do this starting today.
Try it! You might find it "peaceful" too.
Day 1: No Worry
When we worry, we make problems bigger than what they really are. Instead of worrying, accept whatever you have no control over, prepare wherever you can and choose happiness instead of worry!
PAUSE!
THINK!
At the right time, the right things will happen.
ACT!
Sing away worry. Research shows, singing not only strengthens the immune system but also improves your mood. Sing, sing, sing for at least 10 minutes, today.
I know these days it's just hard to stick on the budget. Our budget for food almost doubled these days all because I wanted to be healthy. I wanted brown rice, muscovado sugar, and organic food. But these are all pricier compared to white rice, white sugar and non-organic food. That's why I found this article really helpful.
Grabbed from SimpleMom.net.
Most of us need to watch food costs as we manage our budgets while still prioritizing healthy, organic and fresh foods for our family.
Here are some ways to buy healthy while staying responsible to your budget.
1. Eat less meat.
2. Emphasize grains and legumes.
3. Buy in bulk.
4. Make smart choices in organic produce: dirty dozen.
5. Clean non-organic produce well with pesticide washes.
6. Buy locally.
7. Invest in a Community Supported Agriculture program.
8. Eat seasonally.
9. Grow your own.
10. Preserve it when it’s cheap.
11. Forgo processed foods.
Father's Day is almost just around the corner so I was checking out some stuff for my Dad. You see, since he's a couple of miles away from us, I haven't really given him a decent gift over the past years. Now, I'm planning of giving him this year. He loves to dress what's the current fashion so I guess I can't give anything like mens elastic waist pants. He's very keen to his appearance and is conscious of his body. So no need to buy him something for the oldies.
He doesn't go to the office too and works for his business only so if I buy him those John Blair linen-look drawstring pants, he would probably use it for church or special occassions. I'm sure he would appreciate it anyway. There are a couple of weddings that he attended already and more to come so he would use these pants. I would want to buy him a nice Polo too. A belt? Would save that for his birthday instead.
Now, since I'm into shopping for Dads, I should probably get one for my FIL. I guess with him, the Adjust-A-Band Gabardine Slacks would be nice for him. He goes to the office at least thrice a week so he would be able to use it! He is a very corporate guy and he would appreciate a nice corporate polo too.
This is what I love about online shopping. I can look at the products as long as I want. I can even postpone my shopping spree until I really decide. I can buy at my own pace and at my own time. I don't have to rush to decide if this is the one for me. Before, I used to not believe in online shopping because of the security and all. But now, I'm probably one of those everyday online shoppers who loves to shop in the comforts of my own home.
I required the Hubby to take as much photos as he can. So now, here is the third batch of photos. LOL!
I got tired of having second or third takes that I asked Hubby to take just my back instead. That way, I don't need to hide my wrinkles, flabby arms, and big tummy. HA! Just by looking at my photos, it makes me want to get the best age spot remover ASAP. I feel like getting old these days. Probably it's the lack of sleep.
More photos below.
Andie was not in her usual self by this time. I guess when she saw the pool, she wanted to jump right on it and swim. LOL!

I met up with my highschool friend yesterday and noticed that I looked a little "matured" since we last met (and that was a couple of months back!). I guess with all the stress that's happening at home, I need something that will help my skin to rejuvenate. Is night face cream enough? Or I should also put a day cream? I'm not so sure. I know that I'm getting a lot of face wrinkles already. I just hope that I'll find time to really look for the perfect cream for my face SOON!
We ordered Chowking over lunch last Saturday. We decided that we won't mind what we will eat for the weekend. It was a "cheat weekend" so we can eat chips and junk food for two days. (*grin*) Now, I need to find fat burners to burn those calories. LOL! We took a nap after lunch. We were so comfortable that all of us were able to take a long nap! It was so relaxing. It was the longest nap I ever had ever since I started working again. Since the little girl was itching to go to the Kids' club, I registered her and then I went to the lobby to surf the internet!
The thing in Sofitel, there was no FREE internet in the rooms. I will have to pay a whopping PHP950 for the internet through LAN. When I checked their lobby, I got a connection but it only took around 25minutes. Good thing I was able to finished all my tasks before the alloted time.
While I was working, Andie and the Hubby played at the playground.
When I joined afterwards, I had my photos taken as well! (*grin*)

There are many different types of shorts that you can choose from to help you stay cool and comfortable during the summer. Exploring these options will give you the opportunity to choose mens shorts that fit your practical and fashion needs.
Athletic Shorts
When it comes to playing certain sports, athletic shorts are a necessity. Just playing a game of basketball with your friends would become unbearable in the summer heat without a pair of athletic shorts. Track and field sports also create physical demands that make athletic shorts necessary. Athletic shorts have traditionally been made of cotton. This fabric allows the skin to breathe easily and it absorbs sweat quickly. Plus, athletic shorts made of cotton are usually pretty inexpensive. Today, though, consumers have access to fabrics that are specifically designed for intense athletics. Shorts made of these fabrics will help you stay cool and dry.
Shorts for Leisure Activities
You should also have a few pair of shorts that are intended for leisure activities. Whether hanging out in the backyard, going to a cookout, or attending a summer concert, you will want a pair of fashionable shorts that help you stay cool. Shorts come in a variety of fashions. Explore the options to help you choose those that you prefer. You might find that you like blue jean, khaki, or madras shorts. When it comes to style, the choice is really up to you. Just make sure that the shorts are made of lightweight material that will keep you cool.
Dress Shorts for Men
Some areas of the world get so warm that it is acceptable for men to wear dress shorts. Shorts that are made of madras or linen can look quite fashionable when paired with the right accessories. Before wearing dress shorts, though, you should find out if they are socially acceptable.
Oh boy! Check out what I got. LOL!
You Are Somewhat Like Your Mom |
Believe it or not, you and your mom are pretty darn similar. It may not seem like it at times, but you and your mom have a lot of common ground. You and your mom do understand each other well. You may just need to work on communication. Over time, you'll probably get closer ... especially if you emphasize the things you like about each other. |
Millions of men in the United States suffer from erectile dysfunction, or ED, at some point in their lives. In fact, one in 10 men will experience some level of ED. It's no longer a hush-hush subject; there are many prescription options to help attain the results that you'd like to have. With so many commercials and ads for ED drugs, you may be wondering what differences there are between the different medications and how they work.
When you are going to buy Cialis, Viagra, or Levitra at your local pharmacy, know that all these drugs work in basically the same way. To understand this, it's important to understand the physiology behind male arousal. When a man is stimulated, blood begins to pump into the penile tissue, which is made of muscles and spongy materials. The blood will fill this tissue. The blood vessels become wide open, allowing blood to pour into the spongy material, causing swelling, or an erection. A chemical called phosphodiesterase type 5, or PDE5, is responsible for causing an erection to go down, or reverse. Cialis, Levitra, and Viagra work to inhibit PDE5, which gives the user the ability to maintain his erection. A man must be stimulated for any of these medications to work.
The differences between each drug lies in the amount of time that passes before the user sees results and how long each medication stays in effect. Levitra and Viagra will be best absorbed if taken on an empty stomach. These will normally take half an hour to 45 minutes to produce results and will continue to be effective for up to six hours. Cialis isn't hampered by food in the stomach, and it only takes about 15 minutes for the user to see results. However, it will last up to 36 hours once ingested. Knowing the differences can make choosing an ED medication much easier.
Here's a nice way to start the week - receiving God whispers!
Have a great Monday everyone! (*wink*)
As I've posted yesterday, we took a short break from everything and checked in at Sofitel over the weekend. So instead of going all the way to Batangas or Subic or Quezon, we just travelled for less than half an hour and spent the most fun weekend we ever had (so far!) in Manila.
That's just a preview. Will definitely be back for more photos. :) Enjoy the rest of Sunday! (*wink*)
Car insurance protects the insurance holder against loss or liability that occurs due to traffic accidents. In most countries, if you own a car, then it is compulsory for you to have your car insured. Car insurance does not mean insurance of the car only. In some countries, it also means insurance of the driver too.
In many places, like New South Wales in Australia, the law requires that a car owner must have a mandatory insurance policy for the Third Party (known as CTP Insurance, or Compulsory Third Party Insurance). Unless a car is insured, it will not be legal to drive that car. The CTP Insurance is also commonly known as a 'Green Slip'— owing to the green color of the CTP insurance form's pages. The insurance holder has to obtain this from any one of New South Wales' seven principal insurers. However, only personal injury liability is covered by third party insurance policies.
In Australia, property damage is covered by comprehensive vehicle insurance policies, which are sold separately. Besides traffic accidents, these schemes also include insurance coverage against events like fire, theft or property damage.
In Canada, provinces like British Columbia, Quebec, Manitoba and Saskatchewan have a public car insurance system, which is different from the one provided privately in other parts of Canada. Car insurance is compulsory throughout the country. The government of each province determines the minimum benefits that are to be covered by the car insurance. Accident coverage is a mandatory requirement everywhere except in Labrador and Newfoundland.
A 'no-fault insurance' is provided to victims of accidents in all provinces of Canada. The amount of coverage for no-fault differs from province to province. In Saskatchewan, collision coverage is provided by the government, and includes collision damage waiver, which is incorporated into the insurance policy. Car owners can also choose to have their insurance through a tort system.
I had a great discussion with my CFC household last night that I can't help but share a few things here. You see, our household has been always blessed with babies. If we want to conceive, we would conceive after a month. And now, we are again awaiting a new baby by January of next year.
NOPE. It's not ME. NOT YET. LOL!
Anyway, it made me appreciate more what I got now - a very understanding Hubby and lovely little girls.
God has been so good to me ever since but I'm not sure if I've thanked HIM enough from the bottom of my heart. There are times that I even ask for more. So now, I just want to thank HIM for everything. I'm HAPPY and I got everything I've always wanted.
Thank you Dear Lord for my Hubby and kids. I will be forever thankful for what I have right now.
Unfortunately, Rx drugs are expensive. It seems that you always get sick at the worst possible time: when it's be difficult to afford the medication that you need. There are several easy ways to save money on prescription drugs, even if you don't have insurance.
Ask for Inexpensive Medications
When your doctors are ready to prescribe your medication, be sure to ask them to choose an inexpensive medication if possible. Often there are a wide variety of drugs that can treat each symptom, and you can get the most for your prescription dollars by choosing the least expensive option.
Use Discount Plans at Large Stores
Wal-Mart, Target, and other large stores offer discounted medications. Each store has a specific list of medications that are discounted, often to a price of between $4 and $8. This means that you may be able to save quite a bit of money on your medication just by using the right pharmacy.
Join a Prescription Discount Plan
You may also be able to save money on prescription drugs by signing up for a free prescription drug card. These membership programs allow their members to take advantage of discount prices on prescription drugs. Instead of paying full price for your medications, these plans allow you to get a lower group rate on certain medications. These membership plans are not insurance, but they can save you quite a bit of money, especially if you aren't a member of a traditional insurance plan.
Ask for Samples
Before you fill a prescription for a new medication, ask your doctor and pharmacist if they have any sample packs of the drug. If they do, this will allow you to try out the medication before you purchase a full bottle. This can save you from the high price of trying out several medications to find the one that works best for you.
Since I was too busy lately, I wasn't able to book for our last summer outing. So we decided to just checked in one of the nicest hotel in Manila and so far we are REALLY enjoying it! The kids especially who were jumping (literally) while we were at the room. They just love it to bits! So watch out for photos and stories when I get back. (*wink*)
You peek from your window, watching as your neighbor struggles with his lawn. Every blade must be carefully cut; every weed must be quickly plucked. Sticks and leaves are tossed away, while debris is cursed and collected. You're baffled by this devotion until you see rogue clippings go floating into his in-ground pool. They float, mocking, and make him wince. He'll have to scoop them out (again). It's another minute wasted. You think perhaps that's one minute too much. And that is why above ground pools appeal to you and your family: they offer all the relief and none of the worry.
You don't have the time, or the desire, for maintenance. You have no need to make cleaning an obsession. With above ground pools, you won't have to. Each provides the reward of water and nothing more.
Because in-ground options, for all their grandeur, require patience. They must be constantly protected; their basins scrubbed and their filters forever checked. Every leaf is a potential threat to the chlorine and must be eradicated. And, with access laid so conveniently against the earth, the neighborhood pets will consider it a victory to splash within: they will have a new playground to explore.
But above ground pools remove that concern. They are kept high enough to resist the majority of debris, and animals will find them too difficult to reach. And they even offer the ease of repairs. All potential leaks and cracks can be seen, located with a glance. Their in-ground alternatives will force costly examinations instead. And, you don't need that.
Instead you need only the joys of water. You want to swim, not fret, and above ground pools will allow that. Don't struggle through your summer. Instead let yourself simply relax.
...is on-going. He goes to his photography class every Saturday. And look, he took a photo of Andie while she was playing...
Such an Angel! I just love these photos. I just hope I can make it bigger and put it in a frame. I just want to preserve this for years!
Hopefully more nice photos by the Hubby soon! ;)

The other day was the day when we needed to pay tuition for the little girl. Hubby and I realized that we haven't had that much savings that we need to work harder this year to be able to save for the next school year. It's not easy especially if there are times that I want to shop and travel. But I guess this time, I have to make sure that I save for the kids' education and future. Now I'm thinking of investing too. I've read that if I buy gold bullion, it would be a great investment. Especially now that gold is at its highest value. They said that purchasing silver and gold would be the best option as of the moment. Now, the only thing I need to do is find the money so that I would be able to buy gold.
Happiness is...

Our first trip to Bicol with Ate A (when she was 7 months old). Check out the post here. I remember she was such a behaved baby when she had her first plane ride. :) Now that she's 4 years old, I can't help but miss those days when she was still a baby - so chubby and always smiling. She has grown a lot these days and can't wait to go back to school in June. :)
Now, I'm tagging, Eds, Arlene, Era, Faye, and Ate Jen.
Enjoy ladies!
Last April 24th, we went to Tagaytay to spend the weekend with our CFC household together with our kids. Hubby and I decided to go there early so we could have breakfast at Bag O'Beans as usual.
Check out all about our breakfast here. We took a few photos at Bag O' Beans - my favorite breakfast place!
Daddy's little girls...
With my sister who ended up paying for our breakfast. Wuhoo!
After breakfast we went straight to the house to prepare the kids, since they haven't taken a bath yet! Time flew by so fast that we didn't realize that the rest of our friends were already at LZM waiting for us for lunch. As
usual, it was a Bangus and Bulalo Lunch - which was very sumptious as always!
The whole group then went home to rest for awhile then off we went to the playground for the kids to play.
Ate A was so happy having to have LOTS of playmates (*grin*). After that, we went to Picnic Grove to try the horse back riding. Then we went home for dinner. I was too tired for the day that I didn't last unti 11PM. We were supposed to have drinking sessions but I guess everybody was too tired for that.
Good thing because everybody woke up early for breakfast! Tocino, tapa, hotdogs, and eggs for breakfast! With coffee of course. :)
The weekend was packed but everybody had fun especially the kids.
Happiness is...
1. A POSSIBLE Bag purchase
2. Coffee to perk me up!
3. Had a relaxing Mother's Day weekend
4. 2.5 hours of nap last Sunday (loved it!)
5. Work, work, work!
6. MIL's fruit salad
7. Internet at work - for "RESEARCH".
8. Twitter and Flickr
9. Kids!
10. Online friends

I've been checking out our HK Disney photos recently and I can't help but think of making a photobook just for that vacation. Just like this one.
How I wish I can print all of the photos but these are just so much. I can't choose which one to print too so I end up doing nothing at all. I'm hoping to go back to the happiest place on earth soon. So I've been researching again and that's when I came across Disney stock. It's a way of commemorating Disney and his company by purchasing a single framed share of Walt Disney stock. Isn't that amazing? To be able to buy a little bit of Walt Disney share of stock. I wonder what the benefits are. Based on their website, WaltDisneyStock.com, I just read that they don't ask for costly broker fees, only small amount for the transaction fee and the framed certificate that you will be getting once purchasing a stock. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. I should probably read more about it then who knows, I can afford to buy a stock too!
That's Andie's favorite game recently and look at her when she's trying to hide from you...
LOL! There are just days that I want to freeze and wish that they don't grow up too fast. And these are one of those days.
It was impromptu. Since all of our friends decided to do horseback riding when we were in Tagaytay last month, we decided to go with them. We let A ride the horse (with Dada of course) while AA slept at home. I was a scaredy cat and I didn't ride the horse at all. Hubby said it was very uncomfortable. HE said they needed the right clothing to enjoy the ride. The horses stink too! But what can I do? The little girl had so much fun, she didn't want to go down! Hopefully next time, Andie would experience this as well.
Last night was so difficult for Hubby and I. Aside from the fact that Baby A's Yaya went on vacation for 2 weeks, she hasn't been eating properly for the past few days. Last night was just the same. She wouldn't eat RICE but opted to eat apple or mango instead. I don't know if this is because of teething or probably just the weather. It's been TOO hot lately that's probably the reason why she doesn't want to eat.
SO bottomline is she's been cranky and crying all the time. How I miss those days when she's like this.
I guess she's coping up also since I've been out of the house for long now. I also noticed that she's been clingy lately and when I get home she just want to be carried all the time.
Well, I better make the most out of this moment though because I know for sure in a few months, she would want to be left alone all the time. Just like her Ate A.
I just love getting a dose of God Whispers twice a week. It definitely completes my week. Check out what I got today.
Yeah, I know sometimes I'm guilty of just working so hard that I tend to forget the reason why I'm working. I remember I used to spent over night in the office just to finish a project. That's NOT a great way to earn especially now that I have kids to consider and of course a Hubby! Thank God for these messages, it leads you back to the right path.
Ate A that is! I can say that she did another great job in walking down the aisle during my cousin's wedding in the province...
We gave her a lot of flower petals to throw while she walked but since it was her first time, she didn't know that she had to throw all of it! What she did? She just threw a couple petals (two or three) then brought the petals back home. LOL! She had the time of her life during the wedding. She loved the dress, the thought that she was a flower girl, the time with her second cousin (she talked to her the entire mass), and her photos taken after the ceremony.
I super love it when Ate A walked down the aisle, that I actually missed the bride's emotional walk!
I only got to see this in photos only (too bad) because I was busy taking a video of my little girl. I guess that's how it is when you are a "Stage Mother" LOL!
After the ceremony we had a couple of chit chats with my Titos and Titas. A talk about safety glasses caught my attention. I guess they talked about purchasing a lot for their poultry business. I'm not sure which brand is a good brand to get but will find out more later.
Yes, more pictures coming!!! I just need to find time to upload! Watch out!!
Last month I heard of a husband giving a brand new fortuner to his wife as a birthday gift. Isn't it SWEET? This husband also gave a surprise party and a coach bag to his wife. What a great husband! I was even telling Hubby that he should also surprise me with a brand new car. I told him, he doesn't have to worry about car insurance since I can shoulder that part. LOL!
I was just kidding, of course. I just told him that if ever he is thinking of surprising me, a brand new car wouldn't be my kind of gift. I told him, he already knows what my weaknesses are - LV, Chanel, Balenciaga bags will definitely make my day. LOL!
It has been 2 weeks and 2 days since I started working in an office again. Surprisingly I've been enjoying it to bits. The time that I allot for my job is liberating. I can't imagine working without hearing the cries and fights of the girls. Without having to go down and check on them every once in a while. The idea of just concentrating on my job. It's relaxing to be in a quiet office with nice music for the whole 8 hours. I know I've been feeling this because I haven't been in the office for months now but still, I'm enjoying this moment and hopefully I won't need to surf for jobs again after my contract. Meaning, I'm considering doing it FULL time!
We'll see. (*grin*)
Before the ceremony started at Monastery Transfiguration, we took a couple of photos with my sister, my brother, his girlfriend, my Dad and Ate A.
That Church never failed to mesmerized me. It's like I'm in heaven when I visit that Church. That's why when I'm in the province, I never fail to hear mass here. The view is spectacular. Whenever I'm beside the church, I can feel the winds talking to me. I'm not exagerrating here. It's just heavenly out there.
Watch out for more photos of the wedding! (*wink*)
