It's been months now since we last saw a musical at the Newport Theatre. But the memory is still so clear because we enjoyed The Sound of Music so much.
The experience was worth the expensive tickets we paid for the show. I'm not musically inclined but I found the live performance of the orchestra really heart stopping. The instruments were beautifully coordinated, from the nylon string guitar, to the violin, to the flutes up to the tiniest detail. I guess the music manager did a great job in everything. Kudos to him!
Because of this experience, we would all love to watch again at the Newport Theatre. Because if the musical show or play is held there, we are positive and sure that it would be another unforgettable experience!

That is the difference between watching a play and watching movies. Musical plays are more into hearing the tunes personally played by the musicians unlike in movies that sometimes it rely more on modern technology to enhance the sounds. All the notes and sounds have more effective harmony when you hear it personally from people who play on a musical.
