I've never tasted anything like it. The katsu we had at Yabu is probably the best so far!
Hubby and I tried Yabu last year during their soft opening. I've read a lot of good reviews about them and I definitely agree, experience, food and even service were great.
I just have to say it again, the best katsu I ever had was at Yabu. Will definitely go back again one of these days.
I admit, I lost track of my goal towards the end of January, so I'm making extra effort once again to make a healthy living. For a week, I haven't used the treadmill which was not good because I've been eating a LOT for the past few days as well. I've been craving different types of food for the past few weeks now and I can't hardly control myself.
So now, I have to make a conscious effort and will check what I eat. Last Sunday, we drank a detox drink that we make on our own. This drink includes, apple, celery, cucumber, ginger, and pechay. It sure is healthy! I also made sure I used the treadmill over the weekend.
Since I lost weight last year, I'm checking out on how build muscle articles. I have extra skin on my arms that I want to get rid but I don't think I can do that so might as well build muscles in it. There are supplements that I can drink but will have to look into it more. I'm particularly interested in USPlabs Prime tabs since their tabs are all natural. I don't want to drink something that I'm not familiar so I will check the reviews on the pills they are offering, how it would affect my body and if this fits my budget.

Yes, we spent the Chinese New Year with our friends and what can I say? We all had so much FUN!!!

What will you do if you only have 2 hours to spare in Singapore before your flight back home?
My answer to that question: SHOP and EAT!
I asked my brother to bring me to Bugis Junction which was only a few minutes away from his house.
As always, it was heaven at Bugis Junction. Cheap clothes and cute & unique stuff. Love, love it!
I came across my favorite stall - Tori Q.
Chicken BBQ, Pork BBQ with Asparagus and more! This is definitely one of my favorite food in SG.
I promised my kids I would bring something for them, so I got them Famous Amos cookies - YUM!
I was able to shop at Cotton On. Although they were not on sale, but I still like their items for me and Hubby.
As soon as I'm done with my mini shopping spree, I settled down and had Toast Box.
My ultimate favorite kopi, kaya toast and soft boiled eggs.
On my way to my brother's flat, I was surprised to see the empty streets! So I took a couple of photos.

I had to admit, I didn't like Singapore when we first went there last 2010. But this time, I've learned to appreciate the cleanliness and the nice structures of the country. I love their commute system the most. Everything is so accessible!
Are we planning of going back!? Oh, yes, DEFINITELY!
Of course, we wanted to get the most out of the beach so naturally, we spent our whole morning on our last day at the BEACH!
Since it was our last day, we spent more time here and cherish our last few hours in Phuket.
I was glad we took the last flight back to Singapore. At least we were still able to go to the beach, I was able to do last minute shopping and we were still able to have a quiet lunch at our favorite restaurant.
It was a wonderful day for all us and as soon as we did our stuff, we were all looking forward to see Singapore again.
We were so hungry after the Fantasea Show that we decided to avail the dinner buffet at the Golden Kinnaree Restaurant. We planned on having our dinner somewhere but we didn't have a choice, it was the only restaurant inside the park - or so we thought!
The place was amazing! It was sooo huge! I couldn't believed it. No wonder even if we were a little late, they were still able to accomodate us. Look!
I like how the restaurant was so organized, thanks to the computerized systems installed. Nope, I didn't ask them, but I assumed because at the entrance of the restaurant, there was a high tech computer installed. I'm not sure if it was a pcamerica, but the function was so much the similar! They just entered our ticket #, checked if there were available tables and then the next thing we knew, we were on our way to the buffet! Having a POS system like the one from POSGuys.com provides a huge advantage for businesses.
I hope I can say that we made the most out of the buffet but the kids were a little cranky then. They were probably too hungry. Most of the food were spicy too so unfortunately, Hubby and I didn't get to enjoy the food so much.
It took us more than an hour for our buffet dinner. We were the last ones to leave the restaurant. :)
Unfortunately, on our way out of the themepark, we saw the restaurant that offers ala carte meals. LOL! Oh well! Everyone agreed that the dinner buffet was worth it anyway, and who knows when we will be back to Thailand, so I guess we all deserve it. :)
