Funny it is just now that I realized that on our first night in HCM, we actually had two dinners!
First, while waiting for my sister, Dad and brothers, we noticed a small stall along the side walk in front of A&Em hotel. We can't help it, we just had to try!
The food consists of liempo and rice and a couple of spices. It was delish! Surprisingly! The experience was also new to the little girls and they haven't forgotten eating on the side walk until now.
When we finally met up with my family, we tried the nearest restaurant in Saigon Square - Cafe Fresco.
It was an American/Vietnamese kind of restaurant and I love the food there - calamari, spring rolls and spaghetti. Although most of the food are not available anymore, good thing there were still enough for us for dinner.
It was a long day so after dinner we decided to go back to the hotel and called it a night.
