We had another get together with our good friends from CFC one Friday in January. It was at 2nd's in High Street and we love everything about the place and the food.
My friend Steph reserved the room at the back side of the restaurant so we had our own place for ourselves. We were a BIG group so we decided to just have our own orders and not order as a group. So this is what we had that night...
The Benedict Burger. PHP575.00.
This fully loaded Benedict Burger is composed of 200g USDA choice chuck patty, fried egg, wild arugula, thyme hollandaise, and spam. This one is definitely one for the books. Hubby was so happy with his order. He ended up smiling after our dinnner.
Angus Salpicao. PHP 495.00
I got to taste my friend's order which is Angus Salpicao - U.S. Angus beef sauteed in garlic and olive oil. Served with pan de sal toast.
Truffled Three Cheese Mac. PHP445.00
My order Truffled Three Cheese Mac has creamy emmenthal, sharp cheddar, and blue cheese with potato chip crust. This one is sooo creamy, I wasn't able to finish the whole thing! But it was so good thanks to the truffles. I had to share this with my friends.
All in all we were happy with our get together at 2nd's. Food was great and the reserved room for us was perfect for an all night "chikahan".
