I always look forward to birthday celebrations because it only means one thing - I get to forget about my diet! I can eat as much as I want and enjoy the moment. Of course, family time is also one of the things that I always look forward too. That's why everybody was so looking forward to MIL's birthday celebration last Sunday and Monday. Yes, we celebrated for 2 days!
They ordered Chinese food for the special occassion at the PVL Restaurant. Everything was good!
We had cold cuts, yangchow fried rice, pancit canton, Fried Prawns dipped in flour, beef with broccoli, fish fillet in oriental soup, and chicken in lemon sauce. I told you, occassions such as this entail a lot of food! We were so full after our lunch last Sunday.
I just took a nap for a couple of hours and then we ate again this time we had snacks and the candle blowing.
If you think it is over, nope, after we heard mass, we had another supmtuous dinner with the rest of the family.
It was indeed a nice day for all of us. We wished Mommy a Happy Birthday and we wished that she have more blessings and birthdays to come.
