We didn't really have plans on having a party at home but the Lola insisted and promised she will cook for her Apo's 6th birthday. So we decided to invite 2 of her close friends in Pre-School and my friend Ercs and her babies.
My Mom brought paper plates, paper cups and table napkins from the US. I ordered midi wooden stools as give aways.
While I was at work, I asked the Yaya to transform the little girl's room into a playroom! Look!
These are one of those days when I wanted a garden or a lawn where the kids can play. A conopy swings at PorchSwings.com would be nice also on this special occassion, but with a small garden we got in the house, I guess for now, it really isn't possible. So the kids will have to enjoy the "playroom". At least we can turn on the airconditioner!
The kids started the "party" by watching "Tangled". They didn't finish the movie because everyone was so giddy and excited. They went down and started painting. When they were done, it was time to eat! After eating they played again and then it was time to blew the candle...
Yes, it was a very simple party but I felt that the Ate had so much fun and was so surprised to her friends.
To all the guests, thank you so much for coming! You made Ate A's day really special. And thank you for the gifts too!
