I had my teeth cleaned a couple of weeks ago and my dentist suggested that I get dental implants all on four of my teeth. I was hesitant at first so she explained everything from procedure to the effects of the implants and more. I will about this. The price of my future dental implant is big so I will have to save up for it first. I'm confident that the procedure would turn out ok considering that my dentist is really good.

For sure there will be no dentist that offers a kind of service that is not good to us and if there will be he/she must be prison for practicing dentistry in a wrong way. Anyways, I had a great time reading your post. Thanks.

Good move on researching! I think every patient should arm themselves with information to know exactly what the procedure is all about. It can help you determine if the suggested treatment plan is applicable for you. But how was it? Did you go through the procedure? In my opinion, having dental implants can be good for you. Implants provide a lot of benefits for dental patients. More than the aesthetics, implants can restore proper chewing function and prevent progressive bone loss and jaw shrinkage.

Any updates about your dental implants? Just a piece of advice, consult only a licensed dental implant dentist in your area. There are periodontics who claims to have expertise in tooth implants, but they actually don't. Beware of these guys; they will ruin your teeth and pockets. I think $12,000 is too much. My implant was performed by our family’s cosmetic dentist in Beverly Hills (3 lower and 2 upper). I’m sure it’s cheaper than that, not sure about the latest price though -- mine was 3 years ago.
