I'm officially stopping it except for some loots for my birthday. LOL! What were this month's disappointments? - We all had AH1N1 scare because my brother was positive. What were my accomplishments this month? - Good thing we didn't get the virus. Baby A is fine now. My brother is fine now and the Yayas are getting better with their cough and colds. THANK GOD! - Still expressing milk on the 7th month. This month was pretty stressful and tiring. I haven't been so tired in my life. Probably because of the anxiety of waiting for the symptoms to come and at the same time praying that we would all be alright. It was the longest 7 days of our lives. But when you look at the bright side, we had fun being together at home. Hubby didn't go to work and Ate A didn't go to school either. So we just stayed at home, ate a lot of JUNK FOOD (which was very, very bad), watched Toy Story several times, and actually had fun. Thank you Lord for making everybody better.

Options Screeners for the Investors

I haven't encountered an options screener since today. Even if I'm not into stocks, I still found this product amazing. These are actually tools that is used as a decision support technology that identifies the highest return in option trades. It is a package with a complete suite of educational materials. What I also like about this product is that it has a premium toll-free customer support. Just what I needed, since as I have mentioned, I haven't done these things before. It also provides the essential data you need to invest with stock options. Something that is worth checking out especially if you are a stock investor.

Plans for this Weekend.

Definitely no plans for the weekend. We are just staying at home Saturday and Sunday. I know, it is so not us right? But we have to. And for a change, we are just going to rest. Since Andie is still having on and off fever we will monitor her for the rest of the weekend. Her tooth just came out yesterday so this is probably the reason why she is having fever (I hope!). We are not going to eat out for now. At least with that I won't be needing some fat burners since I will make sure that we will be eating healthy at home. And I can continue on with my exercises too! Although it doesn't sound too fun for me, but I'm sure it will. I can catch up on my reading - I'm almost done with Time Traveller's Wife. I have 2 magazines waiting for me. Hubby and I can have brewed coffee for breakfast without having to rush because we will just be at home. WE can play with Ate A while Baby A watches. We can also have a movie marathon and we can have popcorn too. I better go now, and start planning for the weekend at home. Have a great weekend everyone! (*wink*)

The Future XBOX.

Have you seen the future XBox?

It is pretty impressive and unbelievable! I saw it a couple of weeks ago in YouTube and boy, I don't know what to say. Check it out!

Impressed? Well, actually, I was pretty scared. The technology has emerged big time and God knows what will happen next.

Check out the features from Zimbio.com:

Project Natal (pronounced "na-tall") is the code name for a "controller-free gaming and entertainment experience" by Microsoft for the Xbox 360 video game platform. Based on an add-on peripheral for the Xbox 360 console, Project Natal enables users to control and interact with the Xbox 360 without the need to touch a game controller, through gestures, spoken commands,[1] or presented objects and images. The project is aimed at broadening the Xbox 360's audience beyond its hardcore base of young males. Project Natal was first announced on June 1 at the 2009 Electronic Entertainment Expo. Microsoft has not revealed any price or release date information for Project Natal.

Our Father's Day Weekend

It was a busy weekend for us. We slept over at the in-laws from Saturday to Sunday. Hubby and I ran a few errands Saturday afternoon, went to an anticipated mass and then the fun night began!

The Daddies played poker.

The kids watched "Finding Nemo" for 5 minutes and then decided that playing is better, so they played until 11:30 pm!

I, on the other hand read "Time Traveler's Wife" through my phone while putting Andie to sleep. It was sort of a quality time for me and Andie. I was thinking that in two years time, she will be joining her cousins play until 11:30PM too! I'm sure she will have a blast just like her Ate.

I slept after a few chapters of the book feeling unsatisfied because I wanted to read more! But my mind and eyes won't cooperate because I was too tired. I hope that I can find more time to read that wonderful book!

We woke up early, as in 5:30AM. Andie has been a light sleeper lately and cries in the middle of the night. So we assumed that she was not feeling well. True enough she wasn't and up to now her fever is still on and off. :( I hope she gets well really soon.

We left my in-laws' house at around 11AM to pickup something for the Dada!

Cupcakes by FRUPCAKES.

I actually ordered this a month ago! Because I knew that the owner is very busy. I wanted to try her cupcakes for Andie's first birthday party. So it's like hitting two birds in one stone. LOL! More photos and reviews here.

Then we went straight to Peking Garden in Trinoma. The food was greeeaaat! Too bad the place was packed and noisy. It made us uncomfortable. Hubby wasn't able to eat a lot too. Check out what we ordered in my travel blog. Here are our photos before lunch.

Daytime Nap Has Benefits Beyond Rest

I just had to share this! I came across a news article in Yahoo.com and since there was a time that Ate A didn't want to take a nap. We would always fight just for her to take a nap and I almost gave up. Good thing I didn't because as Yahoo! said, there are benefits beyond rest especially for kids. Daytime Nap Has Benefits Beyond Rest for Kids MONDAY, June 8 (HealthDay News) -- Children's nap time is not only beneficial to caregivers who may need a break. For children aged 4 to 5 years, taking a nap during the day may help reduce hyperactivity, anxiety and depression, new study findings show. In the study of 62 children categorized as either napping (77 percent) or non-napping (23 percent), researchers found that those who didn't take daytime naps had higher levels of anxiety, hyperactivity and depression. The study findings were presented June 8 at the annual meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies, in Seattle. Children who took naps did so an average of 3.4 days a week, the researchers found. The study data was based on the parents' or caregivers' reporting of the children's typical weekday and weekend bedtime/wake time and napping patterns. Family demographics and behavioral assessments of the children were also included in the analysis. "There is a lot of individual variability in [the age] when children are ready to give up naps. I would encourage parents to include a quiet 'rest' time in their daily schedule that would allow children to nap if necessary," lead author Brian Crosby, a postdoctoral fellow of psychology at Pennsylvania State University, said in a news release from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. An optimal age for children to stop napping hasn't yet been determined, Crosby noted. Article grabbed here.

Early Breakfast for Old Friends

It was a very early breakfast for us. Our original CFC household decided to have breakfast for the Aurellados who are leaving for Singapore for good.

It was potluck so everybody brought food! We had shredded tinapa, longganiza, bread, donuts, tomatoes, orange juice, and coffee! It was a sumptuous breakfast!

Of course the get together won't end without some stories and shots of alcohol! That early!? Yes that's us!
