Planning our Christmas Break

Recently, I've been checking our schedule for the Christmas season since Alex's Yaya wants to take a vacation in December. If that's the case then the all-around help should also given an opportunity to rest right? So now, I'm checking on the household chores that I can do when I give birth. There would be cooking, marketing or buying some groceries, laundry, taking care of Alex and baby #2, cleaning the house, and the list goes on and on. I can do some probably since Hubby will be home and can take care of the babies. But I would say that ironing will not be part of my list. LOL! You see, I just hate this chore and even using an imported irons wouldn't convince me otherwise. We will probably bring the dirty clothes to the laundry shop when the maids are on vacation. I will make sure that, that will happen. LOL!

On second note, I'm looking at Callaway irons to give out for golf lovers out there probably this Christmas. But still thinking who and of course would have to consider the budget too.

08.08.08

This is a special day for a lot of people. Weddings are everywhere, I'm sure! And boy, it's nice to make a memory on this special date, right!?

We are also celebrating this special day because it's my MIL's birthday! Happy Birthday, Mommy!

Anyway, to those who are making a mark on this day, have fun and make the most out of it! :) To the couples who are getting married, congratulations to you! To the birthday celebrants, happy birthday to you too!

I will just leave a mark here and post this special photo of ours taken months ago. We were just goofing around before going to sleep and surprisingly Alex was in a mood for photo taking.

Enjoy this day folks and always remember that 08.08.08 doesn't happen again! (*wink*)

Another Investment?

Hubby is going crazy on what business to venture for the next few years. It's just that (we think) everything has been done here in our country already. From internet cafe to salons, it's just all over the place. So I'm thinking of just venturing into an investment instead. There is a coin dealer that I came across recently by Monaco Rare Coin. Monaco Rare Coin is part of the Monex family of companies, a trusted leader in precious metals investments for nearly 40 years. The Monex companies have helped tens of thousands of investors invest over $25 billion in hard asset investments including rare coins, gold, silver and platinum bullion. They also offered other precious metal investments.

Everything is just in the internet nowadays. All I need to do is do more research on this one and talk to Hubby if we will go with it or not.

Alex’s Favorite Snacks

Alex is not the kid who loves to eat snacks. She would rather eat rice and ulam in a full meal and then wait for the next meal to come. But there are still certain snacks that she likes every now and then like...

1. Cheese
2. Yoghurt
3. Yakult/Fruit Juice
4. Gummi Bears (is this considered a snack!?)
5. Pretzels
6. Biscuits
7. Raisins

Now, what are your kids' favorite snacks, Dez, Jo and Pam?

I Need Foot Care!

Ever since I got pregnant, I started neglecting my feet! During the first trimester, I was too lazy to go to the salon and have my monthly foot spa. And besides, I was (and even now) too scared to use any Foot Care Product because it might harm the baby.

But when I give birth, this is one of the first things that I would do! Have my feet taken cared of by the salon or probably use a product from ENGO Patches. ENGO Patches were tested, most importantly, for effectiveness at preventing blisters and relieving blister pain, ease of use, price and a variety of other characteristics. This is just something that I need. But for now, will have to do it myself and would stay away from the medicines until I give birth to the Baby #2.

Early Shopping

We will be doing an early shopping for Christmas this year since I will be giving birth on the last week of November. I just want everything settled before I give birth to Baby #2 so I can focus on her and Alex when the big day comes. We are also considering shopping online to make our shopping a breeze.

One shop that we would be looking into is ShopWiki. They have a lot of items to offer. They even offer different kinds of iPods like iPod Classic, iPod Touch, iPod Nano, and iPod Shuffle. iPod Touch is the one that I want to give for Hubby this Christmas. It comes in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB memories.

An iPod Accessory would be nice for my father-in-law since he already owns an iPod Classic. He would probably appreciate an iPod Sports kit for him to use while he exercises every morning. This is what my Christmas list includes as of now and will be updating it as the days or months go by.

My Early Birthday Present

Since I've decided to buy a new phone (as my early birthday present to myself), Hubby got excited that he wanted to buy one ASAP. I didn't want to yet, since my birthday is still one month to go, but he insisted and even offered on paying the half as his birthday gift to me. Wahoo! Of course, I didn't decline his "precious" offer! LOL! So here it is... I finally purchased a new phone last Monday.

Nokia E71. Since I've always wanted to get a QWERTY keyboard, I finally got what I wanted! ;)

My Dream for Alex.

Since Hubby and I were able to go the Disney World Florida when we were single (he went there when he was in high school, while I went there when I was assigned to work in the US), we would definitely want Alex to see it too! After all, it is the happiest place on earth! :) Although we've been to Hongkong but we never visited Disneyland there since Alex was too young to appreciate it. And also, we would want her to see the biggest of course. I remember after touring the whole of Disneyworld I got sooo tired but was very happy too. Purchasing Disney tickets was a breeze then. There were not much lines, probably because school has just started.

Now, there is also another way to go there without the hassle. We can now purchase tickets at Orlandofuntickets.com. It is the ultimate source for discount tickets for Disney World and all Orlando theme parks, dinner shows and attractions. How cool is that? No lines. All I have to is click away!
