Last Saturday, Hubby and I hosted a housewarming/late-birthday-celebration with Hubby's friends. It was just a simple party. 6 of his friends went and the party ended around 12 midnight. Yes! It was early!
One of the couple brought their 3 year old daughter who was sooo cute. Alex got excited to have a playmate for the night. Sayang, I wasn't able to take pictures because I was so busy talking with our friends while Alex and Ishi were busy playing. LOL!
Anyway, I prepared the dinner. I didn't cook the dinner (LOL!) but, I was the one who "conceptualized" the menu and made the salad. Good enough, right?
Ok, so here's what we prepared:
KANI and MANGO SALAD - My Fave! Siempre, "Love your own". LOL!
BEEF KALDERETA - this one we bought like 2 kilos of beef but good thing we didn't cook all the 2 kilos since some of Hubby's friends came from a party too.
LECHON MANOK - the easiest, we just bought 1 whole chicken across the street. hehe!
PANCIT CANTON (Wok-king) - I started to appreciate their pansit ever since we transferred here. It was so cheap, p200 good for 10 people. Not bad, right?
and BEER, BEER, and BEER!
Some of Hubby's friends thought it was a drinking night. So there were still so much food after the party.
But, the most important thing here is that everybody had FUN! And even Alex had fun too (who, by the way, slept around 12 midnight na!)! LOL!
