Random Thoughts

Wow, another month went by, I couldn't believe how September just passed by like that. It seems like only yesterday that I did the August Roundup.

Anyway, here it is.

What books and/or magazines did I read this month?
- In His Steps Daily Reading
- YES Magazine (LOL!)
- Kerygma

What movies and/or tv shows did I watch this month?
- Pride and Prejudice. (love it!)
- Fantastic Four
- Kubrador
- Jack Frost

What special days did I celebrate and how?
- My birthday!
- Mom's birthday
- Kuya Mike's birthday
- Alonso's 2nd birthday
- Lucas' birthday

What gifts did I give and/or receive?
- A game board for Alonso
- Footspa kit from Body Shop for Kuya Mike
- I haven't given my Mom a gift yet, I might give her the hot compress (microwaveable)
- I got a nice jewelry set from Kuya Mike, a sampayan/hamper from parents-in-law, couturier baby bag from my sister, and lots of SHOES from Hubby!

What illnesses or health concerns did I have?
- Alex had cough, colds, and fever
- As usual, I had backache, headache and stomachache.

What fun things did I do with my friends and/or family?
- Hubby and I with my brother went to Bangkok to celebrate our birthdays
- We went to Tagaytay to spend the night there with in-laws
- Group Date with Hubby's College friends
- We went shopping with the in-laws at Duty Free! Weeeeh!
- Dinner/Dessert with Rica, Farrah, Mage, and Ercs

What new foods, recipes or restaurants did I try this month?
- All the food that we had from BKK. Everything was good, basta not too spicy.
- Conti's Restaurant in Serendra (the food was good and affordable)
- Dampa in Macapagal Ave (food was great, but service was not)
- Yaku Japanese Resto in Podium

What special or unusual purchases did I make?
- lots of shopping in BKK

What were this month's disappointments?
- When Alex got sick. It's just hard to see her that way, not being able to breathe thru her mouth and then not as malikot as she used to be, but still trying to make us smile or laugh. I'm just so glad that she is ok now.

What were my accomplishments this month?
- Alex got well...Thank God for that!

Well, I can just imagine how busy we will be in the coming months. Bazaars will be everywhere by that time and I hope that we'll have Hubby's 13th month too! LOL! I have a few gifts in mind for Alex and also controlling myself not to give her early. Actually, Hubby is the one who wants us to give her the gift on the Christmas day itself. Me naman I want to give it to her soon! LOL!
